It’s hard to imagine that anyone could abandon an innocent puppy in the wild, but sadly it happens all too often. This was the case for a little pup named Roman, who was left to fend for himself in the forest. To make matters worse, he was attacked by wolves and left severely injured.
Thankfully, a worker stumbled upon Roman and took him to safety. But when he arrived, his body temperature had dropped and he was at risk of hypothermia. The poor pup was bleeding and in desperate need of medical attention.
When I heard about Roman’s story, my heart sank. How could anyone be so heartless as to leave a defenseless animal in the wild? It’s a testament to the strength and resilience of animals that Roman was able to survive such a traumatic experience.
But Roman wasn’t out of the woods yet. He needed immediate medical care and attention to recover from his injuries. Thanks to the generous support of Mama and other donors, Roman was given the care he needed to make a full recovery.
Today, Roman is a happy and healthy pup, thanks to the kind hearts of those who rescued him and gave him a second chance at life. His story is a reminder that we all have a responsibility to care for the animals in our lives, whether they are pets or strays.
